Eid is here, and this is how to celebrate it

eid

It’s been a long and peaceful month of fasting and showing gratitude. Ramadan is a time for reflection and as much as we love it, it’s now time to celebrate Eid Al Fitr and the end of the Holy Month with loved ones and take a well-deserved break.

We’re sure you’re all excited about the long holiday and the free time to enjoy long meals during the day with family, socialising with friends and make the most of the time off. We have a few ideas up our sleeve that will help you make the most of Eid and have some fun!

Organise a party

There is no better time to call all your friends and invite them over for a feast and a catch-up. We’re not ones for cooking so we’ll be ordering a boatload of traditional food such as Ouzi and of course, some sweet treats to keep everyone happy but if being in the kitchen is your thing then this is the perfect excuse to put your skills to good use and create a feast this Eid.

Head to the mall for a new Eid outfit

We know, going to the mall isn’t anything new but during Eid a shopping trip is made that little bit more special with late-night opening hours and beautiful decorations that add extra buzz and fun to what would usually be a normal trip to the shops. It’s the perfect excuse to pick up a few new outfits for all those Eid gatherings you’ll be attending.

Do something memorable

Mark the occasion and do something fun to make memories this Eid. You could take a trip to short trip to the UAE and spend a few days in Dubai. You can head to Dubai Parks & Resorts, IMG World of Adventures or head to Wild Wadi. There is nothing better than noting the end of Ramadan by being out and about and appreciating everything and everyone around you.

Get glammed up

You’ve been shopping and made the most of the amazing Eid sales. You have some brand-new clothes that you want to show off and to top it all off, a trip to the spa or the salon is just what you need. A new haircut, a relaxing massage or a rejuvenating facial is just the ticket to make sure you are 100% Eid ready.

Book a staycation!

If you really want to go all out, then why not book a little getaway? Imagine having a lie-in, breakfast in bed (hello, room service) and a day by the pool. It sounds like bliss to us and with the long Eid holiday confirmed, now is the perfect time to book your favourite hotel and completely relax for a few days.
